What Is It They Say About The Best Laid Plans Of Mice And Men?

You would not bet on it! I set myself up to be accountable, in the last post, to all and sundry. I give myself a list of only six things to do before Saturday just gone.

By Tuesday night I had done my research using Micro Niche Finder (1/6).
I had started to write my articles for the upcoming websites, remember I was to create two of them…
I had my domain names in my head ready to go at GoDaddy.

Then I fell ill, didn’t come near my computer for anything, hey you should see my inbox(Unbelieve- A-Bull!)
So Sunday was my first day back at it, but the day was taken up in a farewell for my parents who jetted off to sunny Europe today (Tuesday) and they won’t be back for about 6 or 8 weeks. A great day, time well spent, but again nothing got done on here.

Monday came and went, dammit! I got nothing done…
Tuesday, here we are, it’s about five minutes to midnight and I’m finally typing my update. Ok, so I used my time to type up the three articles that will be my website and that will be submitted to Ezine Articles to send traffic to one of the sites. I have typed up one article for the second site but I have the bones of a second article just waiting to be fluffed out.(2/6)

I have purchased two domain names from GoDaddy.com – World’s No.1 Domain Name Registrar so I’m up to 3/6

I am still in the process of building the websites so that doesn’t count and even though I have spun some articles for lesser directories, I haven’t submitted them.

If nothing else, I have learned one very important thing…
You have to be careful when you decide to make yourself accountable to others, not only do the others expect you to accomplish things but you try to hold yourself to a higher standard in an effort to get things done. It is very easy to kick yourself when you are down. This is one of those times that the gurus talk about where I can get all upset with myself and focus on what I didn’t do and why it didn’t happen, or I can celebrate the things I did get done and know with out a shadow of a doubt that next time I will complete all of my written steps in order to show you how it has to happen.

I’ll be honest here, I’d much rather celebrations than commiserations. I’m going to sign off with a raised glass and as usual,

I Am Where I Am, And That’s OK!
